Trained Systemic Therapists
Couples and Family Therapy is a very rich and complicated discipline. Our CEO and Founder, Shiva Safari, is a Marriage and Family Therapist with the Canadian and Ontario Associations for Marriage and Family Therapists (OAMFT & CAMFT) as well as a Registered Psychotherapist with the CRPO. Being a Marriage and Family Therapist requires extra training and hours of supervision, ensuring that all MFTs in Canada and the US uphold the highest standards and education in couples and family therapy.
At Potential 22, all our therapists are rigorously interviewed as well as trained to ensure ample experience and know-how to help couples strengthen their bonds. We also regularly attend trainings, workshops and peer support consultations.
How Potential 22 Began
Potential 22 was born out of a passion for personal growth. As a therapist, I recognized the need for a safe and inclusive space where individuals, couples, and families could receive competent psychotherapy services tailored to their unique needs. My journey began with a vision to empower others to navigate life's challenges and unlock their full potential for healing and transformation.
With dedication and perseverance, I am assembling a team of licensed therapists and certified professionals who share my commitment to inclusivity. Together, I want to embark on a mission to create a supportive environment where diversity is celebrated, and individuals from all backgrounds feel welcomed and valued.
Since the inception of my private hypnotherapy practice in 2014, and later my psychotherapy practice in 2017, I have been privileged to witness countless journeys of healing, growth, and empowerment. Each client I have served reinforces my belief in the transformative power of therapy and the resilience of the human spirit. As I continue to evolve and grow, I remain steadfast in my commitment to providing inclusive and collaborative psychotherapy services and holistic wellness care to those who seek it.
